Big Ant gets out of bed each morning to a house full of rescues‚(rabbits, cats, and pitbulls to name a few) and is inspired by great focus: to make a positive, meaningful change in the life of any animal in a bad situation. At 6-foot-2 and 325 pounds, there aren't too many people willing to put up any resistance.
As a Founding Member of Rescue Ink, Ant has helped recruit the highly courageous team, committed to the belief that animal rescue has the power to truly touch lives, and not just those of the animals. The native East New Yorker grew up in a place where reading people, whether enemy or friend, was essential to survival. That involves quick thinking, constant drive, and fast action. Oh, and speaking of fast, he spends most of his leisure time making cars, motorcycles, and ‚"anything that goes, GO FAST". He has amassed a huge collection of car show trophies and he isn't slowing down any time soon.
Ant draws his inspiration from many places, but mostly from spending time with his son. He is a committed volunteer for The Boy Scouts of America, a channel for helping to positively shape kids lives while they are still young. He uses his experience growing up in one of New York's toughest areas as a basis for overcoming some hard lessons, and to help steer kids in the right direction.
