As animal rescuers everywhere know, all to often there are situations where despite everyone's best efforts, you can't get a sick or injured animal to a veterinary facility fast enough to save its life. To address this problem, the members of Rescue Ink have begun work on the Rescue Ink PETT-Mobile (Primary Emergency Treatment and Transport), a state of the art animal mobile emergency veterinary facility.

With technical expertise and assistance being generously donated by veterinary professionals and emergency medical technicians, we are designing a vehicle outfitted to provide first class on-site emergency medical care for animals in need. When in service, the Rescue Ink PETT-Mobile will respond AT NO COST to emergency requests from other animal rescue and law enforcement organizations, fire and police departments, and government emergency response agencies. The PETT-mobile will also be utilized to provide veterinarian services to the pets of the elderly and homebound, as well as being on duty for our TNR program.

Through the generosity of a donor who has chosen to remain anonymous, Rescue Ink has acquired a veteran of an ambulance that proudly served a Jersey Shore community for over ten years. This baby needs a lot of work, but luckily we have some of the most talented hot rod and custom car builders on the East Coast in our ranks, and they're going to turn this old warhorse of a first response vehicle into a finely tuned and powerful thing of beauty. Even with all our in-house talent we need a big old pile of dollars to get the job done, and that's where we need your help. From the tires to the emergency beacons, top to bottom, we have a lot of work to do, and that costs serious money. Not only are we overhauling the mechanics of this rig, we must completely re-outfit the interior to be a rolling veterinary facility.
